Pron?
Does the sex scene really have to be in? I mean some people might enjoy a overall sex orgy, but some people (such as myself) are here to write in startrek style....and read about it. So I wonder if it could quit....
Btw, the tag on tag game in the IC area between MCO and CO could also been done in the JP area, pretty frustrating to read a half story...

Re: Pron?
Kinda has a point...wasn't exactly how I planned my charrie to develop this early
Not sure as to why I played along, kinda expected some type of 'Captain to the bridge' to come through and rescue me from the CO's clutches

Re: Pron?
I was thinking of moving that whole scene, and the second one currently going on, into the JP area, yeah. And trust me, this is nothing-I've seen actually pornographic Trek RPs, and this is nothing. *shudders at the horrific memories*

Disturbing...I suggest we go find something to shoot to put all this behind us

Re: Pron?
Topic's been split, now maybe my CSO will feel alright coming up to the bridge and giving Rychard someone to talk to?
Re: Pron?
You think it's wise sending the cute blond to talk to him? Don't say we didn't warn you

Re: Pron?
I've read the content in question, this is a personal opinion thing but what I read was exceedingly mild compared to what it 'could' have been, I liked how it was written to a degree where the action was more insinuated then written up, letting the reader fill in the blanks.
You have the age rating to reflect that more 'adventurous' content could be included, my initial advice would be to note at the start of a post containing such content that you put in bold a warning, that way people uninterested in such things can skim or skip the post completely. That said, keep the balance, don't put the other players off with it so find a medium.
You have the unique advantage that you have a set up here for officers with problems accepting authority and stuff, I like that because there will be people with issues, misbehaving people, troublesome ratings and the like, so use that.
The only issue I have so far is the use of the word 'Fuck.' Not a word I suggest using, its offensive and while I understand it might fit the simm, remember others have to read it and potential new people have to read it and they might have a more strict outlook on such language use.

Re: Pron?
Thanks, I was kinda forced to follow that style for sexual content back in an older RP a year back or so, so that experience was rather helpful.I've read the content in question, this is a personal opinion thing but what I read was exceedingly mild compared to what it 'could' have been, I liked how it was written to a degree where the action was more insinuated then written up, letting the reader fill in the blanks.
That wouldn't a problem, I intend for any serious content like the aforementioned sex scene, or any horror scenes (hehehhehehehehhe) to be extremely sporadic and out of the ordinary anyway. You have the age rating to reflect that more 'adventurous' content could be included, my initial advice would be to note at the start of a post containing such content that you put in bold a warning, that way people uninterested in such things can skim or skip the post completely. Thanks, it's really encouraging to have someone tell me they like the Renaissance's concept. You have the unique advantage that you have a set up here for officers with problems accepting authority and stuff, I like that because there will be people with issues, misbehaving people, troublesome ratings and the like, so use that.
Yeah, I've got a word filter set up now to turn all f-bombs into fraks, so that should take care of that problem. The only issue I have so far is the use of the word 'frak.' Not a word I suggest using, its offensive and while I understand it might fit the simm, remember others have to read it and potential new people have to read it and they might have a more strict outlook on such language use.

Re: Pron?
Read it now, wouldn't make much sense since Reneé isn't the possessive type
